Candy and shopping? Every fashionista’s dream has come true with the Old Town Boutique District’s “Trick or Treat with the Boutiques” event. During store hours this Saturday, Oct. 27, families can receive special treats from more than 30 of the participating boutique. Look for a “Trick or Treat with the Boutiques” poster in storefront windows to identify participating merchants.

Planning a girl’s night out? Head over to the grand opening of Bellacara at the new Mosaic District Shops in Merrifield. This event is also on Oct. 27, when you’re invited to enjoy 15 percent off of all purchases as well as cocktails and sweets from 6-8 p.m.

Over in Fairfax, now’s the time to indulge in some guilty pleasures at Undeniable Boutique’s “Forbidden Fruit” event. If you find a “forbidden fruit patch” hidden in an article of clothing, your entire purchase will be discounted by the amount represented by that specific fruit. This event lasts through Oct. 31, so hurry there soon!
