Sir Francis Bacon might not be your immediate go-to when searching for style inspiration, but he was definitely on to something in saying, “Fashion is only the attempt to realize art in living forms,” contributing to the common idea that fashion imitates art (or art imitates fashion, whichever you prefer).
Undeniable Boutique, located at Fairfax Corner, showcases the similarities between art and style in this month’s Undeniably Colorful window design and in-store displays. Joanne Roberts-Wittauer, modern artist and Northern Virginia resident, created paintings for the store that add context and dimension to its colorful spring collections.
